Overview

Lead Dentist – Clear Path to Ownership | High-Performing General & Implant Practice

Are you a talented, relationship-driven dentist passionate about comprehensive care and a desire to own your practice? This is your opportunity to join an elite practice with mentorship, strong clinical volume, and a clear path to equity/ownership.

Dr. Daniel Walenjus—a University of Michigan Dental School graduate and Fellowship-trained implantologist—leads this established, high-tech general practice along with a part-time orthodontist. With a growing patient base and the recent departure of an associate, we’re looking for a Lead Dentist to join our team and grow into a long-term ownership role.

Why Join Us?

Structured Path to Ownership: You'll have a clearly defined transition timeline (12–18 months) with business and clinical mentorship every step of the way.

Award-Winning Leadership: Work directly with Dr. Daniel Walenjus, named “Top Dentist of NJ” and “Best of the Best” in Monmouth County, who brings advanced training in implants, post-doctoral education at Mountainside Hospital, and a laid-back but excellence-driven office culture.

Strong Patient Flow: 45–50 new monthly patients with consistent demand across general, surgical, and implant dentistry.

Collaborative, Skilled Team:

  • 3 Doctors: 2 general and 1 orthodontist
  • 3 Hygienists
  • 3 Dental Assistants (1 EFT)
  • Strong front desk and administrative support
  • 8 total operatories + 2 additional plumbed ops for future growth

What You’ll Do:

  • Deliver full-scope general dentistry, with a high volume of endodontics and implant cases.
  • Lead patient treatment planning with a compassionate and confident approach.
  • Collaborate with a dedicated team to maintain clinical quality and a positive culture.
  • Build toward partnership with mentorship in business operations and ownership logistics.

Technology & Equipment:

  • State-of-the-art systems including digital imaging, implant supplies, sedation options, and an ortho bay. Tech-forward and investment-ready.

Ideal Candidate:

  • Experience: 3+ years of clinical experience, ideally with AEGD/GPR training.
  • Procedures: Must be comfortable with root canals and implants.
  • Schedule: Part-time to start (2–4 days/week) with the potential to increase as you grow into ownership.

Compensation Structure:

  • % of adjusted production (final structure negotiable based on experience and timeline to equity).
