La Jolla Family Smile Design is a high-volume, fast-paced dental practice committed to delivering exceptional patient care. We’re looking for a dependable, detail-oriented Sterilization Technician to join our team and play a key role in maintaining the cleanliness, organization, and efficiency of our clinical operations.

Compensation

• $21 - $24 an hour based on experience

Responsibilities

• Ensure all dental instruments and equipment are properly sterilized and ready for use according to OSHA and CDC guidelines

• Maintain and operate sterilization equipment and monitor sterilization cycles for safety and effectiveness

• Keep all operatories fully stocked with necessary supplies to support a smooth and consistent patient flow

• Assist in room turnover between patients by disinfecting surfaces and resetting trays

• Support dental assistants and hygienists in maintaining an organized, well-prepared clinical environment

• Perform regular checks on supply levels and communicate with team members when restocking is needed

• Contribute to a team-oriented environment focused on providing the highest level of patient care

Requirements

• Previous experience in a dental setting is preferred, but not required — we are willing to train the right candidate.

• Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety and cleanliness

• Reliable, punctual, and a team player with a strong work ethic
