
Randolph & Associates Family Dentistry is seeking a Dental Hygienist to join our dedicated team of dental professionals in Bloomington, IL! We serve all demographics of the population, from preschoolers to the elderly, and we operate a busy office with high levels of traffic. In addition to preventive care appointments and scheduled procedures, we accept emergency calls. The ideal candidate will have a calm, reassuring, and friendly demeanor as well as the ability to multitask in a fast-paced atmosphere. - $35+ an hour based on experience

Qualifications
- Associate Degree in Dental Hygiene required (Bachelor's preferred)
- Current state license required
- 2+ years' experience as a Dental Hygienist
- Excellent verbal communication skills
- Experience working with children preferred
- Basic understanding and knowledge of HIPAA privacy rules
- Current CPR certification required
Specific Duties
- Perform dental hygiene services and procedures, including dental prophylaxis, scaling, fluoride, sealants, and root planning
- Complete a thorough assessment of the patient's teeth, bone, and periodontal tissues, and document and chart any abnormalities or suspected conditions
- Customize care to meet patient's oral health
- Educate patients on good oral hygiene techniques
- Maintain patient confidentiality
- Provide all care in conjunction with accepted professional dental practices and standards
- Collect medical and dental histories from patients
- Chart dental conditions based on dentist's observations and evaluations
- Create molds of patients' teeth in preparation for dental appliances
- Sterilize dental instruments and tools
- Take X-rays of patients' teeth and develop them for dentist's use
- Provide chair-side assistance during dental procedures
