This role is essential in ensuring the smooth flow of daily operations, including managing provider schedules, coordinating patient visits, and delivering exceptional front-desk service.

Pay Range: $17–$25 per hour, based on experience

Work Schedule/Office Hours:

  • Full-time
  • Monday: 9:00 AM – 7:00 PM
  • Tuesday: 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM
  • Wednesday: 9:00 AM – 3:00 PM
  • Thursday: 9:00 AM – 7:00 PM
  • Friday: 9:00 AM – 2:00 PM

Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinate and manage doctor and patient schedules using Dentrix and E-scheduling tools

  • Confirm provider schedules for the following day

  • Collect outstanding patient balances and secure payments at check-out (cash, credit card, checks)

  • Answer phones using a professional, scripted greeting

  • Retrieve and respond to voicemail messages left after hours

  • Greet and check in patients, updating contact and insurance information as needed

  • Verify patient-provider assignments and ensure all information is accurate

  • Assist with end-of-day reconciliation of financial transactions

  • Prepare daily production reports and assist in proofing all transactions

  • Maintain organization and cleanliness of the front desk and reception area

  • Prepare documentation for daily AM team huddles

  • Provide new patient tours as needed

  • Perform other administrative tasks as assigned

Qualifications

  • Minimum 1 year of experience in a dental or medical office preferred, however the office is willing to train

  • Dentrix software experience preferred

  • Strong communication skills; bilingual a plus

  • High attention to detail and organizational skills

  • Comfortable working independently and as part of a team
