Dr. Burns has been an orthodontist in the Elkhart/Middlebury area for over 30 years and a top provider of Invisalign treatment since 2018. He has mentored a wonderful team that our patients love! Compensation:

• $20 - $28 an hour based on experience
• Higher pay rate possible with dental/orthodontic experience, expanded duties, and X-ray certification

Responsibilities:

• Assist the orthodontist with all orthodontic procedures
• Chart procedures with accuracy
• Digitally scan all records with an occasional impression
• Sterilization
• Maintain a clean work environment
• Greet and seat patients in a friendly, upbeat manner
• Be a cheerleader for our practice
• Comply with universal precautions and infection control

Qualifications:

• Dental Assisting experience
• X-ray certified preferred
• Excellent, professional interpersonal communication skills 
• Bilingual is a plus, but not necessary
• Computer skills
• Excellent organizational skills to effectively handle multiple tasks and maintain a calm demeanor
• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Work at both Elkhart and Middlebury
