Our modern and fun dental office in Portland is looking to add a Dental Assistant! We’re looking for someone as passionate about dentistry as we are, who can provide the best patient care and have fun while doing it!

City Dental utilizes the latest dental technology and fosters a strong, supportive team atmosphere. We want every staff member to feel like they’re contributing to our success. Compensation: $25-27 per hour, based on experience

Schedule

• Full-time
• Monday through Thursday
• 7:30 am-5:00 pm

Qualifications/Responsibilities

• 1+ years of prior hands-on dental assisting experience is highly preferred
• Radiology/X-ray certification
• Knowledge of Dentrix software
• Provide excellent patient care with a warm and welcoming attitude
• Prepare patient for treatment and checkup with an emphasis on patient comfort
• Help prep and clean office and treatment rooms
• Assist the doctor during dental procedures
• Verify patient health history and document in their file while maintaining patient confidentiality
• Taking X-rays
• Assist with other practice needs as requested
