Westlakes Family Dental is seeking a part-time Registered Dental Assistant to join our expanding team. • Inspect and ensure all common and office areas are clean and at peak readiness
• Meet with dentists and lead to review of the upcoming patient treatment
• Greet, seat, take blood pressure, review history, and provide information to patients
• Support dentists during treatment
• Take x-rays efficiently and correctly
• Sterilize the treatment area and instruments
• Confirm trays/materials, lab cases, and offices are prepared to ensure peak readiness for the next day's patient schedules
• Ensures OSHA hazard protocols and office standards are maintained

Qualifications

• Valid Texas RDA License (required)
• CPR certification (required)
• 1+ years of prior hands-on dental assisting experience is highly preferred
• Oral Surgery experience is a plus
• Coronal Polishing, Sealant, and N20 Certifications are a PLUS
• Able to understand and communicate dental/orthodontic terminology
• Knowledge of Dentrix software
• Strong verbal communication and listening skills
• Energetic and flexible
• Must be a team player
• Manage multiple projects and timelines with a sense of urgency and follow through
• Work well in a fast-paced, pressure-oriented environment
• Well-organized and detail-oriented
• Exhibit sound judgment
• Strong computer skills are required
