The ideal candidate will manage front desk operations, ensure a welcoming environment for patients, and maintain efficient office systems. This role requires excellent patient service skills, attention to detail, and the ability to handle various clerical tasks while adhering to HIPAA regulations.

Responsibilities are not limited to
- Greet patients warmly and manage the front desk operations efficiently
- Schedule appointments and manage patient flow within the clinic
- Handle patient inquiries and provide information regarding services offered
- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation in compliance with HIPAA standards
- Review documentation for completeness and accuracy before patient visits
- Process patient information using computerized systems effectively
- Assist with insurance verification and billing inquiries as needed
- Collaborate with dental staff to ensure smooth communication and workflow
- Perform clerical duties such as filing, data entry, and maintaining office supplies
Requirements
- Previous experience in a front desk role, preferably within a dental clinic or hospital setting (at least 1 year)
- Strong understanding of HIPAA regulations and patient confidentiality protocols
- Proficient in using computer systems for scheduling and documentation purposes
- Excellent communication skills with a focus on patient service
- Ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational skills
- Familiarity with dental terminology is a plus but not required
- A positive attitude and a willingness to learn are essential for success in this role
