Overview

 

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Insurance Coordinator Assistant to join our team. This individual will play a key role in supporting our insurance operations, ensuring accuracy in patient coverage, and serving as a vital link between patients, insurance providers, and our internal teams.

 

Job Type: Full-time

Schedule: Monday through Friday, 8:30 AM - 5:00 PM

Compensation: $20 per hour

Responsibilities

  • Verify patients’ insurance information prior to appointments.

  • Follow up on accounts with missing details by communicating with insurance companies or patients’ parents/guardians.

  • Support the Insurance Team by managing, tracking, and completing incoming emails, phone calls, and faxes.

  • Generate, review, and process reports as needed.

  • Coordinate dental plan benefits and coverage for upcoming patient appointments.

  • Document clear, detailed notes to assist team members across departments and maintain transparent communication with patients.

Qualifications

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to negotiate effectively

  • Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills

  • Ability to work collaboratively within a team or independently

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
