Oakmont Family Dental is seeking a Lead Front Office Assistant to join our thriving dental practice in Eugene, Oregon. Schedule: Full-Time, Monday–Thursday
Office Hours: 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM
Compensation: $28–$33/hour + monthly bonus

Experience Required: Previous dental and management experience preferred
Recent Graduates: Encouraged to apply
Lead and manage the front desk team while actively participating in daily front office operations
Develop, implement, and enforce office policies and procedures to ensure efficiency and maintain patient satisfaction
Coordinate front office meetings and participate in leadership and team events
Train new front office staff and provide ongoing support and guidance
Oversee scheduling, approve time-off requests, and ensure staff proficiency in Open Dental
Perform daily operational tasks, including opening/closing procedures, patient check-in and check-out, and payment collection
Accurately create and review treatment plans, verify insurance benefits, and schedule appointments with proper documentation
Maintain organized route slips and ensure all procedures are correctly attached to the appropriate providers
Handle phone calls professionally using the 5-Star Method, and maintain accurate communication logs
Assist in creating and managing New Patient blocks to meet office production goals
Punctuality and readiness to work at all scheduled times
Maintaining a professional appearance and adhering to office dress standards
Focus and engagement while on duty - no cell phone use at the front desk
Strong teamwork skills across all departments
Maintain strict confidentiality in compliance with HIPAA standards.
Adhere to OSHA safety protocols and office policies.
Display professionalism, positivity, and a helpful attitude at all times.
Be flexible and willing to assist in other areas of the office when needed.
Demonstrate excellent communication, active listening, and problem-solving skills.
