A private, patient-focused dental practice in Beverly Hills is seeking a friendly, organized, and professional Dental Receptionist to join our team. As the first point of contact for our patients, you will play a crucial role in creating a positive and welcoming atmosphere. The ideal candidate is a bubbly, outgoing, and detail-oriented multitasker who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is passionate about providing exceptional customer service. Compensation: $20-23 per hour, based on experience

 

Schedule

  • Full-Time
  • 4 or 5 days per week
  • Monday to Thursday OR Monday to Friday
  • 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM

Key Responsibilities

  • Warmly greet and check-in/check-out all patients
  • Answer multi-line phone calls, manage patient inquiries, and route calls to the appropriate team members
  • Schedule, reschedule, and confirm patient appointments efficiently
  • Collect and update new patient registration forms and ensure all patient information is accurate in our system
  • Verify dental insurance eligibility, break down benefits, and explain coverage to patients
  • Process patient payments, co-pays, and post transactions accurately
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming reception and waiting area
  • Manage office correspondence, including emails, faxes, and mail
  • Support the clinical team and office manager with administrative tasks as needed
  • Provide occasional back-office support, such as chairside assisting, during rare instances of short staffing (as needed)

Qualifications and Skills

  • Required:
    • Minimum of one (1) year of experience as a receptionist in a dental office
    • A bubbly, outgoing, and professional attitude with strong organizational, multitasking, and computer skills
  • Preferred (Nice-to-Have):
    • Back office dental assisting experience is a huge plus
    • Proficiency with Dentrix software
    • Knowledge of PPO insurance
