This position is 5 days a week, 36-40 hours per week. The ideal candidate will guide patients through complex financial discussions with empathy and clarity, while also handling insurance verification, billing, aging, and collections with precision. Qualifications

  • 2+ years of dental front office experience is required
  • Knowledge of Open Dental is preferred
  • Bilingual in Spanish is a plus
  • Focused and detail-oriented mindset
  • Excellent verbal communication to communicate with patients regarding their insurance inquiries and coverage details
  • Verify dental insurance benefits prior to appointments
  • Submit insurance claims/appeal insurance claims
  • Process insurance payments, patient billings/sending statements
  • Solid understanding of dental terminology, coding practices, and dental records management
  • Communicate effectively with patients regarding their insurance inquiries and coverage details
  • Collaborate with healthcare providers to ensure proper documentation for billing purposes
  • Assist in resolving any discrepancies related to insurance claims or payments
  • Managing Accounts Receivable, aging, and outstanding claims and denials
  • Manage and maintain accurate records in compliance with HIPAA regulations
