Responsibilities for a Dental Assistant I and Dental Assistant II include (but are not limited to)

• Chair-side assisting
• Sterilization
• Knowledgeable in Infection Control
• Taking dental X-rays (certification required)
• Coronal polishing (certification required)
• Sealants (certification required)
• Monitoring of Nitrous Oxide (certification required)
• Communicate effectively with patients, parents, and team members.
