Primary Function

This role is responsible for the accurate and timely posting of all insurance payments and adjustments in strict adherence to company standards, established processes, and performance expectations.

Responsibilities

• Post all lockbox payments within the required timelines for assigned partner offices
• Review and distribute all lockbox correspondence to the appropriate departments in a timely manner
• Apply accurate adjustments to patient ledgers based on Explanation of Benefits (EOBs) and company guidelines
• Create IssueTrak tickets for all denials received to ensure proper review and follow-up
• Create secondary claims with all required supporting documentation
• Maintain a high level of accuracy and attention to detail in all posting activities
• Complete additional projects and tasks as assigned

Qualifications

• Strong understanding of dental insurance and Explanation of Benefits (EOBs)
• Proven experience with high-volume payment posting
• Experience with Dentrix, Eaglesoft, or Open Dental preferred
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Strong typing and data entry skills
• Ability to prioritize workload and consistently meet deadlines
• Ability to work independently while contributing to a team environment
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite is a plus
