
We are looking for a friendly, organized, and customer-focused Dental Patient Coordinator to join our team. As the first point of contact for our patients, you will play an important role in creating a welcoming and positive experience. The ideal candidate enjoys helping people, has strong communication skills, and can manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced dental office.
Compensation: $25-$28 per hour, based on experience

Key Responsibilities
- Greet patients warmly and provide exceptional customer service
- Check patients in and out for their appointments
- Schedule, confirm, and reschedule appointments as needed
- Contact patients by phone, text, or email to remind them of upcoming visits.
- Verify dental insurance eligibility, benefits, and coverage prior to appointments
- Explain insurance benefits, treatment estimates, and payment options to patients
- Answer incoming calls and respond to patient questions in a professional and friendly manner
- Maintain accurate patient records and update insurance and demographic information
- Coordinate treatment schedules and assist patients with follow-up appointments
- Collect payments and process financial transactions
- Support the dental team by ensuring smooth daily office operations
- Maintain patient confidentiality and comply with HIPAA guidelines
Qualifications
- One year of previous experience in a dental field in the same position
- Knowledge of dental insurance verification and patient scheduling is a must
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Strong attention to detail and organizational abilities
- Ability to multitask and work effectively in a busy office environment.
- Experience with Dentrix is a plus
