We are excited to welcome an experienced Dental Assistant to our pediatric dental team!

We are looking for someone who is warm, dependable, energetic, and genuinely enjoys working with children. Because this position requires an understanding of dental procedures and back-office flow, previous dental assisting experience is required. Spanish-speaking is strongly preferred.

The right person will understand that working with children takes patience, compassion, and the ability to make both children and parents feel comfortable and supported. We would love to find someone who takes pride in their work, enjoys being part of a team, and is willing to grow with our practice.

 

Compensation

  • $18 - $21 an hour based on experience

Schedule

  • Full-time
  • Monday - Thursday
  • 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM

Responsibilities

  • Preparing treatment rooms and assisting the doctor during procedures
  • Taking dental X-rays
  • Sterilizing instruments and following infection-control protocols
  • Reviewing treatment and post-operative instructions with parents
  • Comforting children who may feel nervous or afraid
  • Maintaining accurate clinical documentation
  • Keeping treatment rooms stocked, organized, and ready
  • Helping the clinical team remain on schedule
  • Communicating with the front office to create a smooth patient experience

Qualifications

  • Previous dental assisting experience required
  • Spanish-speaking strongly preferred
  • Pediatric dental experience is a plus
  • A warm, patient, and reassuring personality
  • Comfortable communicating with children and parents
  • Dependable, punctual, and organized
  • Able to maintain an efficient back-office flow
  • Willing to learn, accept direction, and continue growing
  • A positive team member who is willing to help where needed
  • Able to anticipate the needs of the doctor and patients
  • Comfortable explaining procedures and post-operative instructions
  • Someone who takes initiative and helps find solutions
