• This position is to cover a maternity leave temporarily, with the possibility of moving to permanent in the future

Qualifications

• Must hold a valid TX Hygiene license
• Knowledge of Dentrix software

• Proven experience with prophylaxis, manual and ultrasonic scaling, root planing, and periodontal charting

• Experience reviewing complex medical histories, performing oral cancer screenings, and formulating therapeutic dental hygiene plans

• Hands-on experience capturing and interpreting digital X-rays or panoramic imaging

• Ability to clearly explain periodontal disease progression and provide personalized home-care instruction

• Proven patience and empathy when treating children, elderly, or dentally phobic individuals
